A Nation of Fools

Ignorance vs wisdom

That’s what we are. The blame, responsibility, the reasons, and the problem lie with us because we have allowed ourselves to become a nation of fools. Some people deserve more condemnation than others. Some have a half-baked excuse for their faults while others don’t have a leg to stand on. And then there are us Christians, some of us just may be the biggest fools of all.

We started as a nation of immigrants from different nations all over the world but we had one thing in common. We wanted to be free and we were for a while. We had our differences about freedom, who has it, who deserves it, and who controls it. There was good and bad on both sides of the equation but we worked it out, somewhat.

Fast-forward to around the late 1900s, and we start to see the influx of many new immigrants, except this time, many don’t want to assimilate into our culture, way of life, and norms. Then throw into the mix many of our countrymen who are abandoning our cultural history for the sake of diversity, inclusion, fairness (as they deem it), and what is right and wrong, good or bad, and sin (according to their views).

You should know by now the details of the debauchery, darkness, delusions, and insane beliefs and opinions held by people who seem to be detached from reality so there is no reason to go over it again.

So far, I have not mentioned anything about being a nation of fools, I guess it’s about time I did.

We have become a nation where the insane are running the asylum. The 1% of the population that consists of gay, trans, bi-sexual, and a host of other gender or self-identifying individuals are imposing their views, norms, culture, and definition of what is right or wrong on the other 99% of the population and we are allowing it to happen. And many of the 99% are endorsing, promoting, and also trying to force others to jump on the bandwagon of debauchery.

People are turning from logic and true science and allowing their feelings to guide them and emotions are replacing common sense, also that all is important is that you are happy (forget about what happens to others as long as YOU are happy). Self is above others, me first, and my way is the norm. So sad.

What about us Christians, do we contribute to this insanity or promote efforts to curb it? Some of us so-called Christians believe in supporting, assisting, promoting, and fighting for the right of the 1% to force their agenda on the rest of us and make us follow along. If not, you are a bigot, transphobic, and a host of other vile names we are branded with for not following along.

Forget about saying and wishing things would return to how they used to be. Let’s just promote common sense, logic, science, and most important Scripture! Scripture tells us there are male and female, period. Children are to be protected, cared for, loved, and allowed to grow up as children with mistakes and confusion included as they are mentored. If adults want to be weird or do things to their bodies, they should be allowed to do it at their own expense and not expect others to bail them out financially when faced with the consequences that will eventually appear.

We are also fools when we rely on others to tell us what to think, say, believe, and share with others while not testing things to make sure they are true. We elect crooked politicians and belong to churches because they promise us money, happiness, prosperity, and an assortment of lies, again not tested, and help you to become rich and famous. While all we get is broken promises, deeper in debt, frustration, and a bonus trip to Hell because of our stupidity, blindness, greed, and pride.

Non-believers do not know the joy, prosperity, happiness, salvation, and blessings they could have if only they would believe and accept Jesus. However, some of us Christians know what we possess as true believers but cast those blessings aside. They are convinced they can still carry out the commands Christians must follow and have the riches of this world. Why? Because Satan convinces them that they can possess financial riches, be proud, live in excess, and strive to obtain what others possess while not violating the sins of lust, pride, envy, greed, laziness, and wrath and still have their salvation which is not true.

If you talk to people on the street and you ask them questions about what they believe is morally OK many times it would be hard to realize who were Christ’s followers and who were not. Some Christians believe in abortion, transgenderism, homosexuality, same-sex marriages, males competing in female sports activities, and even males who identify as female using women’s bathrooms at any age. And that is just some of the activities that are immoral but have been accepted by society along with some Christians. However, the ones who call themselves Christians should fear Matthew 7:23, “Away from Me, I never knew you.” Because if they do not sincerely repent of these sins, they will follow the wide road that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13).

When we wake up Wednesday morning, we will see what kind of fools voted for a candidate’s personality instead of their policies. Lord help us.
