Heading toward a one world government?

 

Are we moving toward a one world Government as Scripture states will happen in the end times?

As I see it, my answer is, “Yes we are.” Listed below are excerpts from secular articles that show that we are headed in that direction. And then there is a Biblical authority that states, in scripture, that secular people and governments will bless, and are blessing the idea of a one world government plus accept and follow the Antichrist who will be the ring leader, so to speak. First, let me quote a United States statistic (dated 2012) and its implication: A record-high 38% of Americans prefer that the same party control the presidency and Congress. Implication: Americans are more supportive of a one-party government now than previously, including presidential election years. A step in the direction of one organization running everything! Groups like The Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, Royal Institute of International Affairs, United Nations, Club of Rome, The Bilderberg Group, and others control presidents, prime ministers, media networks, politicians, CEO’s, and entire nations. You will almost never hear any substantive analysis by the media, which is controlled by these groups nor of attempts at holding them accountable by governments around the world.

You will notice that another way that our planet is being “united” is through the use of international trade agreements. The ultimate goal is for the entire world to become a “single market” with uniform laws, rules and, regulations. (Google single market and international trade for more insight)

When Obama was president his negotiations for one of the biggest international trade treaties that the world has ever seen was completed. The Trans-Pacific Partnership, also known as “Obamatrade”, would represent a giant step toward a truly unified global economy.

What does the Bible say about this idea of one world government? Actually is says quite a bit in the book of Revelation alone.

A good place to start reading are chapters 13 and 17 in the book of Revelation. They are full of the world going to a one world system under the Antichrist. Revelation 13 is the primary chapter where we see a description of society under the rule of The Beast, also known as the Antichrist. In chapter 17, The Bible prophesies that in the end times, the world is going to be ruled in ten kingdoms or regions.  Study scripture to find other information as to what it tells us about the end of times and the rise of a one world government.

Finally, the European Union is building its own tower of Babel where all peoples and nations will work toward peace and unity. They promise that all will find protection and have their needs met (yea – sure) by this globally unified organization.   Their motto: “Many tongues, one voice.” (you can Google this article) Does that comment remind you of anything?

There are hundreds of articles and documents concerning the direction and goal of some who want us to become a one world nation, no matter what the average citizen wants. It is out there but don’t expect the local or national newspapers or cable news to cover it very much. You must do the research for yourself.
